Haus Reitz Bed & Breakfast is a charming little retreat for those seeking a quiet getaway without breaking the bank. Tucked away within easy walking distance of the river and some good eateries, it's spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Reese and Joseph, the hosts, provided a warm welcome; they even offered to let me park my motorcycle in their garage, which was a nice touch. Bus passes were readily available, enhancing the convenience of exploring the area. The breakfast, though typically continental, was satisfactory in quality and quantity, aligning well with what you'd expect for the price point. There were minor drawbacks; the walls seemed to lack insulation, allowing noise from adjacent rooms to seep through, which was a little distracting. I found the single square pillow somewhat uncomfortable, though perhaps that's the continental style. Haus Reitz presents a amazing value for the experience offered. While not luxurious in the conventional sense, it competently balances comfort and affordability, making it a sensible choice for budget-conscious travelers.
